Shift Car Rental

PAYMENT & SECURITY DEPOSIT:

Monthly rentals

1.       One month rental payment in advance.

2.       Security Deposit of 1000 AED for compact cars and 5000 AED for premium cars to be block on main renter credit card and will be released automatically from the bank to the cardholder account after 21-30 days.

3.       Security deposit is deemed for renewal if extended for another month

4.      Only Accepted Credit Card for security Deposit, Cash and Debit Cards are not accepted for security Deposit. 

5.       Make and Models of cars are not guaranteed, it will be either same or similar category of cars. 

Weekly and Daily Rentals

1.       Rental payment in advance.

2.       A blocking of AED1000 for compact cars and 3000 AED - 5000 AED for premium cars to be block on customer/renter credit card and will be released automatically from the bank to the cardholders account after 21 - 30 days.

CHARGE INFORMATION:

1.       A surcharge of AED25.00 will apply for every traffic violations incurred during the car is at renter’s possession. Late posted traffic violations will be charged directly to the credit card provided at the time of rental.

2.       SALIK charges at AED5.00 per crossing. Late posted/ recorded during the car is at renter’s possession SALIK (toll) will be charged directly to the credit card provided at the time of rental.

3.       20% refueling charges are applicable plus the actual fuel cost if car is returned not of the same level as check out.

4.       GPS charges at AED 800 In case of loss or damage.

5.       Original registration charges in case of loss or damage: AED100.00 (DXB), AED500.00 (AUH). Other emirates – TBA.

6.       Original key charges in case of loss or damage to will be borne by the renter

7.       Delivery and collection charge of 50 AED applicable within city limits

KILOMETER RESTRICTION:

1.       Limited Mileage of 4000 KMS for Monthly Rentals extra @ 40 fils

2.       Limited Mileage of 4000 KMS for Monthly Rentals of Infiniti and Renault extra @ 40 fils

3.       Unlimited kilometer for Daily and Weekly rental for Nissan Cars

4.       Infiniti Cars and Renault Cars – 150 kms per day extra @ 40 fils per km

INSURANCE:

1.       Insurance Excess deductible will apply in case of accident if CDW is not purchased. (An amount of 10% will be charged on the cost of damages over and above the Insurance Excess if the customer is below the age of 23 years or UAE driving license is less than 6 months old.)

2.       In Case of Accident police report shall provide by renter, if does not obtain CDW is invalid & customer is responsible for all costs
